1959 MG MGA Convertible
Restored to driver quality in late 1980’s

1959 MG MGA Convertible
Restored to driver quality in late 1980’s
Color changed from Light Tan to Light Blue
Paint quality is 6.5

This car runs and drives excellent. This car does mark its territory from time to time. The culprit is a weaping rear main seal.
The tires are modern Firestone radials and are in as new condition. The carburetor has been rebuilt and is adjusted so that this nice little driver starts up every time.
The chrome is bring on both ends of the car. The windscreen is in good condition with very few scratches or pits. It is also fitted with lexan wind wings and they too are in good condition.
The horn is good and loud. It has been fitted with fender mounted rear view mirrors and a chrome luggage rack on the boot. A gratuitous box of spare parts comes with the car, including a fitted cloth car and timing light.
The car is not rusty. The paint was put on many years ago and it is thick in places. This is a great example of a nice MGA that has had sympathetic mechanical maintenance to keep it in great driving condition, notwithstanding the less than stellar cosmetic
condition.
