Auto Assets has been involved in track events since opening our doors in 1989. We have done countless chassis setups from mild to wild. Starting with autocrossing, to marquee club racing and ultimately competing in IMSA and Grand Am, the professionals at Auto Assets have been there and done that and are eager to share experiences gained to help you get the most from your Track experience.
We think that a driver / car owner should only have to focus on racing when behind the wheel. They should have trust in their car and the shop that prepped it. At Auto Assets it is our sole job is to ensure that trust by careful preparation, uncompromising decision making and attention to even the most minute detail every time. Safety is not negotiable.
Vintage, Club and Historic Racing can be a very rewarding way to enjoy old machinery. It is a very intense and competitive amateur sport. The rewards come from the realization and satisfaction of doing your best on the track. Enjoying the camaraderie of fellow competitors in the paddock creates lifelong friendships and an experience that is”priceless”. Our Operations Manager, Ed Collazo is Chief Instructor and very active with #Gridiife and Auto Interests instructing in and driving his E36 M3. The owner has had an interest in Club, Historic and Vintage racing where we developed a large operation of “arrive and drive” automobile racing events. In 2001 Chip and Steve Southard drove to an impressive 23rd overall in the Sebring 12 Hours. Chip still competes in a 2000 Porsche GT3R and Lola 97/90 Sports Racer
At Auto Assets, we endeavor to have the finest talent in the industry while building a loyal and committed team.
