Trust Your Car To The Professionals…. Please!

We just had a customer bring their car to us with an oil leak.

Not long ago we performed a major maintenance on the car and encouraged the customer to get the oil changed often. We know that we are not competitive with the Quick Lubes, FastLane, Tire Discounters, Wallyworld and others that claim to be able to service your car. We are not going to crucify them all. There are some darned nice and qualified people who are working at some of those places. There are also some people that should NOT be working on your car.

Below is a video we shot today of a customers car that was scheduled for inspection on an oil leak. The oil filter housing was finger tight and oil was dripping down from the housing, onto the oil cooler. The facility that did the oil change inspected the car and noted on their invoice that the oil cooler was leaking. Trouble is, they just changed the oil and had left the filter housing loose.
